Whats The Black Wire Under In The Dash!!!!

ok umm i was toying round with my recently acquired 2004 BA xls ford falcon ute. and so i was trying to connect a homemade auxilary input into the system and feed it through to under the tissue box holder. anyway as i was doing this an important lokoing black wire fell out of nowhere and i got no idea where i gotta plug it into. the head of it kinda looks like a normal 3.5mm audio plug but i aint sure, and the other end comes out of what looks to be around the instrument cluster....anyone know where this goes!!!!

Everything works like it should?
Probably to a non existent Amplifier or extra speakers...Ford is notorius for adding wiring that may or may not be used when the car is assembled (makes it easier for the dealer to add in accessories) or it might be a diagnostic tool.
