Would 5 grand cash cover...

but umm, yeah $5k is a major amount to be spending.

myself, i'd spend it on this:

extractors
headwork + cam + cam gear etc etc.
unichip or the likes.

manual if thats your thing?
brake overhaul, slottered rotors on the front atleast.
decent diff ratio dedpending on trans selection :)

5 speed conversion with 3.45 diff
thermofans
17 inch wheels with tyres
2x12 inch subs and amp
better alarm

How much you rekon I could get a set of 17''s with rubber for???

I guess with 5k you'd have to make up your mind what you want from it first. 5k is a lot of cash but it can go all to quick.

Preformance mods might include 5 speed conversion engine work, LSD diff maybe?
Looks might be a nice tint job, a set of wheels things like that. Theres a lot you can do. I suggest looking at other peoples cars/other models of falcons and deciding what you want.

I think you're on the money with the five speed, shorter LSD diff, extractors, an alarm and I would add slotted (or cross-drilled if it tickles your fancy) brakes all round.

Im in sydney and I was wondering how I would go about getting a manual conversion done. Anyone got any ideas???
