What is this timing thing I have heard that gives you more power with an Ea, it is something like 10 Degrees Anti-Clock wise, what does it do??? does it forfit something to get power??? What is involved to change the timing???
Standard timing is 10 degrees BTDC (Before Top Dead Centre). This is the best setting, advancing it or retarding the timing any more that is gonna make your engine run crap. The only time you would need to advance the timing is when you've got a lumpier cam, or if you're running premium, but even then it's not necessary.

I can't really tell if there's a difference as I did mpfi at the same time.
