Re: Whats This Timing Trick???

I got my timing 10 degrees out atm, but it wasn't intentional I can't really tell if there's a difference as I did mpfi at the same time.

Re: Whats This Timing Trick???

Standard timing is 10 degrees BTDC (Before Top Dead Centre). This is the best setting, advancing it or retarding the timing any more that is gonna make your engine run crap. The only time you would need to advance the timing is when you've got a lumpier cam, or if you're running premium, but even then it's not necessary.
