Got a shameful 17.2sec 1/4 Mile last night in the old EA Spac with 2.5" cat back exhaust, pod filter and XR6 cam with a Auto tranny :(

Though I did have a lot of trouble with traction off the line even with new 215 wheels on the back... it felt slipperer then it would if it was wet! Must be all that rubber thats collected over the years.

So whats the best 1/4 Mile you guys have got, and what mods have you done. Oh yeah and whats the standard 1/4 Mile for a 4 speed Auto EA?

I got a 15.651 @ 144.26kph on Wednesday at the motorplex in Perth, I reckon I could get it down to a 15.5 though. I've got a 1994 EF GLi with pacemaker extractors and a lukey 2.5" system, that's all my mods to date. I'm trying to chase down some 3" flexible heatproof tube so I can do a direct intake from the airbox to the throttle body but I can't find any, anywhere! So it looks like I might have to get an exhaust place to bend me up some stainless :/
Also got a cam and some headwork coming up pretty soon I hope. But I guess I'm happy with the time so far.

15.6 is good for the mods done.
my best so far is 16.48 for a Stocko EF GLi with 3.45 LSD, everything else is stock.

Used to be a best of 17.2 when it was completely stock.
Wanting to get my fuel system sorted out coz my injectors are not working overly well and wouldn't be helping my times :)

nah, those runs were on petrol.
Gas was 17.8 with 3.08 and 17.0 with 3.45 LSD.. prolly coulda done better, only did 1 run on gas

my best 1/4 mile time is 15.02, tried so hard to break 15 but couldn't!
this was done on a g-tech though cause no dragstrips in canberra.
