Hey boyz, as most of you know... ive been spending the last year fixing up my VERY basic EB1 GL wagon trying to get her up to a fairmont ghia standard. So far i have done the following:

*CFI -> MPFI conversion
*Power mirrors
*Cruise control
*Trip computer
*Velour door trims
*Ghia digital dash
*Interior map lights
*Power antenna

What needs to be done still is too install the climate control system and add power windows all round. Is this all the extra's that the ghia's have?? Dont ask my WHY im wasting money doing this... im just punishing myself for not buying a EB ghia in the 1st place.

Oh yea, and i need ghia seating too, electric would be nice

Well I can't be of much help with the technical stuff, but one of the most appealing things about the Ghias to my mind is the detail touches. The interior lighting is up there with many current model luxury cars around the world, for example.

My suggestion to you would be customising the car's features to your precise tastes, rather than aiming for an EB Ghia wagon replica. This is what I have done, and the result has been an assortment of EA-EL features now and in the future...

One of the very simplest things to add are the Footwell lamps !

You will probably see some small circular holes for them already molded in the plastic, near where you put your feet, (above).
They use the same bulb holder as the Auto Trans Shifter, so its a very cheap and painless thing to do, but is very noticeable !

I would also have to agree with Mr Travis, aim for features that you consider to be of more benefit, rather than going for an all out 100% Ghia replica !
(I.E. Build yourself a better Ghia than a Ghia !)
