330 kw Monaro vs XR8 with 5.4l, performance brakes, luxo interior, US eaton blower from lightening, 6 speed tremec from Mal Wood, 3 inch exhaust and 4 doors - don't think it will take me too long to figure out 4 doors is better than 2
If you think the Arrow coupe from Hilliers is a bit extreme, I think they did a "standard" XR8 the year before, which looked like a two door equivalent of a standard XR8. I believe the conversion could be done to any model AU, at the cost of around $30,000. Surely the same could be applied to a BA, the only real "shape" difference being the interior doorskins, and the flatter roofline. I couldn't tell you where I got this from though, I just remember reading it a few years ago (PFM? Unique Cars? <-- I think it was Unique Cars).
Didn't the Herrod mob mod one of these coupes? It was seen as the stablemate to the "Vision 300" or "300+" or whatever that sweet black AU Ghia was called...
