I got finance for my car at first. (coz I was a scrooge) then when I realised how I could save more money I decided to pay off the loan with the savings I had after 6 months. My car officially mine at that time.

My Falcon was on the drip, and my GT will be on the drip.

I don't earn enough to buy cars outright.. May have to hit the boss up for pay rise

With the money I had saved I could of bought something half decent. I decided though to borrow 2/3 of the price and get the AUII Fairmont so I had something that still had some manufacturers warranty to go, plus a car that will last me quite a few years if necessary. I'd always thought I wouldn't borrow money when I bought my next car, but things change. As it is, after having the car for 5 months, I'm deliberately ahead in my loan repayments by 3 months because I'm not going to pay any more interest than I have to.
