Why Can't Ford Supply Dealers With XR8's?

Why couldn't they supply the dealerships with at least 1 XR8 each for potential buyers to test drive? or is this a stupid question.

The Boss was late to development, Its in its final testing/building now -as the engines are built before the cars.

"Why couldn't they supply the dealerships with at least 1 XR8 each for potential buyers to test drive?" They can't supply any XR6-T's to dealers and they have been out for a month now. XR8's are released early next year (together with the GT) because the cars are still in the development cycle and it would be idiodic to bring out a car untested and unimplemented. I'm sure they are also going to build up the stockpile before they ship to avoid the shipping issues ala XR6-T.
