BA MK2 I thought would have had a luxury pack for the Futura Wagon.
If Ford can offer it on the XR range, why not the Futura wagon??
Holden still have a VZ Berlina Wagon. There must be a market for a luxo wagon. I like my AU3 Fairmont wagon V8.

The reason they ditched the Fairmont wagon was to make room for the Territory. If you want climate control and premium sound buy a Territory TS. If you want that and leather buy a Territory Ghia.

Ford killed the wagon the second they greenlighted Territory - it's just the death scene is the most long winded in history...

The territory is responsible I guess.

I wanted to look at trading up and took a test drive in a BA Futura wagon but was disappointed. Not really much better than my AUII Fairmont wagon and despite the 182Kw it felt a lot slower than my modded AU.

The sales people suggested I look at the Territory ghia. I said i would go next door and look at the berlina V8 wagon instead.

If I could hack into Fords production computer I would build a Futura wagon with G2200 trim and front and an XR6 turbo auto with a 3.73 LSD.

Now thats refined sporty family travelling not this pretend i am some sort of farmer Territory crap. I hate FWD's. AWD thats OK but FWD,s high mini truck stuff turns me right off.
