depends how far u wanna go with it.
as soon as u start doing ANYTHING to the head, the XR6 advantage goes out the window.
Certainly not worth the extra money u'd be paying over ur current car.

yeah i to say stay with the ed classic, there's really no point spending extra on an xr6 then to mod it

What are you going to do with it? I went the xr6, you don't see many of them around now. Plus the interior is so much better than the standard gli/futura. But as EFFalcon said, once you touch the head you'll be better off staying with the classic. Do the head and add the exhaust/extractors and you'll be pulling away faster than my car could at the moment!

If its mainly performance wise your worried about just do up your current car it will work out cheaper and be easier than selling/buying again. Although the xr are something a little different and the interiors definantly are better than gli/futura models
