Just looking for some info on where about I could pick up a cheap wrecked falcon. Maybe even something with the head stuffed and a crap body. There are a few things that I want to chuck into my car like the transmission, A/C unit incl. compressor, and a couple of interior parts. I want to get the four speed tranny, my A/C has carked it, and I am sure that there would be a few other bits and peices that I could grab. I want an ED cos I think that it is the only one with a CFC-free compliant A/C unit, and four speed is standard. I figured that this would prove to be a cheaper alternative than bying the parts from the wrecker. After my scab seesion, I could sell that rest to a wreckers to re-coup some cash. Any suggestions are welcome, and whether the A/C assumption about the CFC-free is right. Cheers.

Those Auction places are always putting wrecked cars under the hammer. Fowles have auctions quite frequently here in Melbourne, though I am not sure where they are based, In the city somewhere I suppose. The Trading Post also has this kind of info. Heck, there may even be some wrecked EDs advertised this week...

Have fun trying to get the 4speed auto up and running in your 3speed EA(?) Ive heard its an absolute bitch to get everything hooked up and running correct.

A manual conversion is easier, cheaper, and better bang for your buck......
