G'day folks, I am replacing the current 250 6 cylinder in an XC Falcon with a 302 V8. Can anyone tell me if I can use the existing Borg Warner 3 speed auto transmission as is, or do I need to modify/replace?

You would be better off fitting a C4 as it is a better gearbox all round. Also, I do not believe that you can get a bell housing for the BW35 to suit the Cleveland engine.
The C4 gearbox to suit a Cleveland engine should be very easy to find and cheap as there are heaps of them around. Also cheap to rebuild as well.
