has anybody owned or still own one of these.i was talking to a guy in the shopping center carpark and he said he had one and would consider swapping it for my eb.unfortunatly due to thawing out frozen goods and an agitated wife i cant go and see it till tomorrow.i know my blackwood falcons pretty well but the turbo 6 is an unknown for me.what are they worth cant seem to find any in unique cars etc.any thoughts appreciated.
what a dog.i dont think it was areal one as it had no numbering of any sort - no plaques or anything.it was blue it did have scheel seats and these gold compomotive simmons lookalike wheels.did have a turbo but ran like shit plenty of blue smoke.speedo said 180k but on atest drive found it dont work.car appeared to have 4-500k kms in wear.keeping eb.

All of these cars were numbered. It sounds like the real deal.....maybe you should investigate further. These cars were real classics and go real hard when all the gear is working. If it is a real one and you can bargain on the price.............go for it and you can spend any saved cash on fixing up the bits and pieces that need attention.
Your EB will be worth $1500 bucks soon, but the XE will still pull $10K + with no problem !!!!!!!!!
aww.$1500. that hurts.fair dinkum are they that bad.i paid a lot more than that for it let me tell you.its in immaculate cond.do you reckon my xe esp will go that low.the "grand prix" needs a full restoration if it is real and thats something i just cant do at the moment because im doing just that to my esp.if anyone else is interested in following it up pm me.
I would have written the Chassis number down and contacted DJR. He'd have to have it recorded.
The car has potential to be wirth heaps. Just because it has high klms doesn't make it a bad buy, it can be restored and fixed, also it will always (if the numbers match) will remain a collectable.
It's almost worth letting discovery know and it can live in the discovery centre!!

Any further developments on this car?? Has it been seen again or is the owner a member of this forum and hasn't seen this thread???
I'd be interested in seeing a story done, {or if there was one} on this rare beasts. What are your thoughts???
