Hi guys, just wanted to get some feedback from those who have the XEDE in there BA turbo's. How do you find it for generally? Any issues?

Im looking at doing the Xede with injectors, fuel pump, hi flow cat and HD valve springs. just with those little mods they are getting numbers around 270rwkw+!!

I wouldnt mind getting a 2nd hand xede to save some dollars, but I would say that would be near impossible....

one downside with the xede is the longer cranking time it takes for the car to start

WHen you can get between 40 to 60 RWKW's from nothing more then just a Tune from Capas flasher i would be taking a serious look in that area aswell before making a decision, there are dealers everywhere so product availablity is great.

The "sct" what the hell is that?

bolt ons are old news?? with power gains like that, who cares if they are old news.... Just want to get other feedback before I get it done..

SCT Flash.. also known as the CAPA Flash Tuner

Basically plugs into your OBDII port, and reflashes the code on your ecu.. You have control over the ECU varibles.. Rather than fooling the ecu to fake Map(or Maf) values

All depends on what you can get the xede for!

The xede isn't all doom & gloom, especially as it's a cheaper option to the tune. the major benefit is you can run 2 maps, 1 for economy & 1 for power/racing. Changeable on the fly! Go over to www.ford xr6 turbo.com (remove the spaces) & look what GEEA has done with his xede!

I'm thinking of buying one to compliment a tune later down the track.

The sct is the tip of the iceburg, and there's lots better options coming early next year & at a better price. I know one option where u can tune direct from a pc not just some poxy box, others claim to live tune.

The SCT/CAPA edit is not live tuning. it doeshave a l however ot more flexability for changing parameters than a piggyback.

ls1 edit is not live tune and is a much better option for them and has achieved much more than anything else
aps= smoke and mirror
they know they will be losing people to the sct and they are giving people false hope to stay with them

I didn't mention APS, but they apparently have a product as well!

At the moment there are at least 5 companies who have reprogrammed the black oak. SCT is only the first to come to oz!

An xede & an edit is the best scenario all round!
