XF bonnet change - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

My XF wagons front looks a little glum, stone chips dints and rust spots.

I was thinking of changing to a XD bonnet (I know the grill has to be changed as well) but what else has to be done, will my guards, lights and bumper still fit?

Has anyone done it?

njope

xd xe and xf all have unique parts...

headlights are different
guards are different
grille is diffeent
bumper is different, and
bonnet is different
xd and xe also hve seperate indicators...

Shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement XF bonnet... why not shout it an XG ute grille for a bit of a present too?

Too hard and too expensive to get all the necessary replacements. Either get a new XF bonnet, or respray the old one (probably cheaper) and get an XG ute grille like Blackwood said, makes the XF's look great IMO.

Go here and take a look around, they are XG XR6 look-a-like's. Set you back $595 unpainted. Or you can get the XG XR6 originals and pay over $2000.
