on my way home from work today i saw an XF sedan with an EF XR8 front grafted on. havn't seen it around before, so i rushed home to get my digital camera, but by the time i got back there it was gone. it was painted cobalt blue, or something very similar, and looked damn sweet. i'll keep my camera with me and try and get pics.

I'm guessing it's a XH front, which should bolt on without too many hassles.

from what i can recall from a friends XD / XH ute you have to change just about every panel forward of the firewall, including inner guards / rad suport.

the way it goes was his missus stacked his beloved XD ute, and he bought a rear ended writeoff XH and grafted teh front on. looked so spot on that it wasnt funny.

one thing ive noticed was that his ute, and now that sedan, both have inconsistancies in teh side swage line. the panel meets up in every way except for that grouve.......... wierd.

Man thats strange! Thats crazy, thats weird!

Looks good tho, only problem is that there could be a 4.1 litre under the bonnet. Or is it a V8? Can anyone tell me?
