Re: XF Ford Carby Tag
Gday,
I can't seem to find exact matches for your lot of numbers etc., but what I'll do is quote the list of carbys for the XF direct from my Ford XF factory repair manual - from the era when you could learn everything about your car in just ONE volume, not 9+ as it is today and totally unaffordable to buy!
Try this:
Pre ADR37 (which was before the introduction of unleaded motors).
Car/trans Model Carby p/n
4.1 MAN ADM0 84 DA-9510-UB
4.1 AUTO ADM1 84 DA-9510-TB
3.3 MAN ADM2 84 DA-9510-SB
3.3 AUTO ADM3 84 DA-9510-RB
Post ADR37 (unleaded petrol introduced and when Falcon motors turned into slugs)
Car/trans Model Carby p/n
4.1 MAN ADM0 86 DA-9510-UC
4.1 AUTO ADM1 86 DA-9510-TC
3.3 MAN ADM2 86 DA-9510-SC
3.3 AUTO ADM3 86 DA-9510-RC
See if that helps at all. You can see that there are in fact EIGHT variants of the same jug, depending on the model and era. And at about the same time NSW tried to enact tighter pollution laws that required cars sold in NSW to have different engine specs to the rest of the country. And that meant diffferent timing etc. just for NSW. God love the pollies!
Good luck!
