xf steering coupling
Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to replace the steering coupling on an xf.
I I have the box (power steer) out of the car. I am replacing it with a nolathane coupling. It comes with 4 bolts. The original setup had 2 bolts connecting it to the steering colomn and the coupling seems pressed to the metal backing plate on the steering box.
From the best I can gather maybe I need to grind the 2 pressed lugs of so I can seperate it from the box and replace it with the 2 extra bolts in the nolathane kit
Just wondered if this is right before I go cutting things
