Does anyone know whether the XF Wagon has any provision for the fitment of the bolt for a Child Seat Restraint Anchor?

I had a Subaru wagon that had threaded holes in the roof to screw the special bolt into.

Anybody??

yep, in the load compartment just behind the back seat, 3 points with plastic plugs screwed in them.
Oh yes, I know the ones - thought they were retainers for the rear mat thingy.

Do you know if the XY Wagon has them also?

XY wagon won't have them - The child restraint anchors became an ADR (Australian Design rule) late 1970s - I know they were standard on XD which was 79.

If you want to incorporate them into your XY your local Dept of Motor Transport (or equivelent) should have the details on what's required.

I'll probably just take the grinder to an XF wagon and get the factory backings for them - same as I have for the inertia reel mountings on top of the wheelarch...
