XG ute water in drivers side interior - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

After the rain, getting literally litres of water in the drivers side of the cabin but not the passenger side and when I turn the knob from demist to foot - it gushes in. Heard this is a bit of a problem with these cars. Any advice to fix this would be appreciated.

Check for leaves blocking the drain in the corner of the cowl (under the bonnet in the corner near the windscreen).

Thanks for your help Blu, cleaned it out as best I could poured some water down there and still leaks in the cabin. Not as bad but - gonna get a wet dry vac and suck it up.

Leaves left there long enough will cause a hole to rust through the floor of the air ventilation plenum chamber under the inlet cowl grill and results in a permanent leak. Seam sealer will usually fix small leaks.
