hi im new to the forum
im looking to buy my first car and i want a ford ute

ive been looking and ive found a 2007 xls BF MK II, 135,500 kms for $12,500
and also a 2003 xr6 BA thats done 165,000 kms for $14,000
what would be the better car to buy and what would be a better car overall if you were to compare the two

both have full bodykits, both are white and both have been serviced every 10,000kms.

please help any advice and opinions would be great.

Considering the BA is older and has more k's yet more expensive then just from what you have posted I would say the BF would be the better buy. If the XR6 was also the later model with similar k's then I would have chosen that as it will probaly hold value a little better. Have you looked around for any other XR6's.

Theres not alot different mechanically from a XR6 to a xls as most is just body and interior differences.

i have looked but for similar kms they are going for a bit more, between $1,500 to 2 grand over what i want to get a car for. im going to test drive both but if i could talk the xr6 owner down to the same price as the xls ($12,500) would the xls still be the better buy due to low kms?
