XM coupe deluxe/futura prodution numbers?

Hi all, can't seem to find any info on the number of xm hardtops made.

thru some searching i know there were around 2,300 produced in total, but i would really like to know the exact number of xm deluxe and futura's that were sold.

if you can help, thanks in advance!

Re: XM coupe deluxe/futura prodution numbers?

just checked my books and I can only find that there was a total of 47,132 XM's built. The Deluxe hardtop sold for $2430 brand new, any one got one for sale at that price.

Don't know how many were made , but I do know I have Futura sitting in my shed awaiting restoration when I get some time and money !
The serial prefix on the ID plate reads "XMROD" , that has to be a classic.

Have you looked in www.geocities.com/earlyfalcons ?
If you could get just the Futura stainless side moulding for $2430 I think you would be doing well !!.

Cheers

You've got nothing to lose by asking, however be aware it would involve a manual search and count of old production records - a massive job.

Used to own an XM Coupe, and I remember looking on the web and finding out there were about 680 two door hardtops produced. Remember reading somewhere that there are about 60-70 left (running) in the country. don't know how true these figures are but they were early falcon sites. Here's a good website, look in the links section for plenty of interesting stuff on early falcons:
www.earlyfalcon.org
Also, got a pretty good model from a mob called trax, ordered online at www.topgear.com.au. If you have the beige or the blue two door, they are pretty good replicas - about $40 or so.

Cheers
