We are trying to pick a colour at the moment for our GT and have been trying to decide between Blood Orange, Citric Acid, Mecury Silver and White.
l tend to agree with TS50 on this, l think some of those colours may date, although l think Phantom and Blueprint are least likely to. l love Blood Orange on a GT with stripes but for some reason dont like it as much on an XR.
Mercury Silver and white have become our preffered colours, will be going to the FPV factory tomorow to look at the holding yard and make a final decision on colour. lf l get any good pics l will post them to give you some more ideas on what looks good.
actually on the Targa XR6 Turbos, the one that Herrod did, that was a new colour blue
that looked good to
Mind you i still love the Narooma Blue
maybe its jst that Fords colour is blue, i dont know
but.............

Unfortunately Narooma Blue has bitten the dust to be replaced by "Offshore" or "Beamer" Blue. Take your pick 'cos no one seems sure which name will apply.
Either way the colour is an exact clone of Holdens Delft Blue.
my friend approached a dealer and said he wanted a ba ute in phantom and the dealer said for 3 grand he would do it,if a colour is popular enough, like the acid rush they drop the xr only tag and run it across the range, holden done this with there tiger mica and it was awsome as an ss colour but they spoilt it by allowing people too buy it in executive, which ruins it,not that you need much too ruin a holden.
"black is black i want my baby black" hell that sounds like a grooovy tune baby! yeah baby!!

Wonder how many more we'll pinch??
Pity really, as Narooma is a traditional Ford blue, rather than a wishy-washy blue.
Glad I got my Narooma Blue XR now then...
