im from NZ and am travelling to perth in the new year and was wondering if there are any places where i can pick up cheap parts for my XR wagon as they are hard to come by here. i am looking for some carpet, a tailgate and a rear right door. i can get them all back to here without too much hassle and was wondering how much they are and where to go??

Carpet is easy.
Tailgate and rear right door are a little difficult.
Anyone know if the tailgate for an XR is the same as an XT-W-Y?
Same with the rear right door, and are they the same as a sedan?

I'm pretty sure the tailgate's are the same from XR/T/W/Y,I have a XT tailgate under my old's house but I want to keep it, sorry,I know how hard these thing's are becoming to find,I'm trying to find an electric tailgate,if anybody has one,cheer's.

Rare Spares from Aus have an outlet in Christchurch. The address for the NZ outlet is on the website. They sent me a huge parts and spares list but it's gone walkies somewhere. I also know of a local breakers that specialise in Fords. Where in NZ are you?

Someone else has asked this question earlier. The Door is not the same. The Window Frame on a Wagon is Squared Off at the Top Rear Corner. On the Sedan it is Curved. The rest of the Door is the same though.

bundy bears right super roo is in perth and will have every thing you need but when you get here check the car parts section in the local for sale paper the "QUOKA" where youll find some good deals from private sellers just last week you could pick up a complete 5.0 efi setup for $400
as for doors $50-200 depending on condition/seller
