I just got back from 3 weeks OS and jumped in my XR6T for a drive last night. Stoped off at Subway and had a bunch of guys crowding around to have a look at it. I thought that the hype would have died down by now, but it hasn’t.
XR6T has truck loads of street credibility. The XR8 will have about .2 tenths more.

If you can afford it and are prepared to wait the XR8 would be my choice. There won't be much difference in performance I expect, but the V8 will have the edge - oh, and that nice exhaust note!

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen. It said, 'Parking Fine.'So that was nice.
