can anyone out there tell me why i cant get wheelspin out of my vct xr round corners put the pedal to the boards and it is just straight power to the ground no wheelspin i know they are limited slip.not sure if it has traction control cant see a button for it any where,only had the car 2 days very nice machine though plenty of power any answers much appreciated.

Its pretty common actually. The VCT has a very good IRS system and, along with the LSD and half decent tyres, it will simply hook up and go.

I had the same problem with my VCT......not anymore though. Wheelspin is on call and even excessive now days.

so how can u get wheelspin now u have bald tyres ?

Its not so much that I have bald tyres, more that the engine is putting out far more power.

Yeah they stick very well the VCTs. If you want wheelspin from take off, just put your foot on the brake and flaw it, although mine just slides out at the back. But if you wanted no traction you should have gone the HP, lots of fun there :)

Don't worry if you dont get wheelspin, getting power to the ground is what its all about
couple of simple mods custom 3 inch air intake,chip,extractors and 3 inch exhaust and you WILL keep most v8's honest. I do

Actually, I went for 2 1/2 inch exhaust and no chip and I make any V8 short of a Boss, LS1 or T3 feel very upset. Thats not to say I can beat them all, all of the time but I can beat most....most of the time.

If you want to spin the wheels around a corner go buy a Commodore. Their IRS is so crap they dont stay on the road when driven hard around corners. This is partly why so many of them get wrapped around poles, a combination of bad handling AND the dickhead factor. And maybe bad roads have a little bit to do with it but not as much as the bad handling. I love being able to easily out accellerate them around corners in my Pulsar and watching them fishtailling all over the place and running into my lane because they cant get the power to the road.
