xr6 vct ecu into non xr6????

Will it plug into AU non vct car?Will there be a difference??

All AU ecu's would plug in but the VCT is going to have a whole heap of different settings.

What you want is an AU XR6 auto ecu.

You will get a fuel air map better suited to a cammed engine and the adaptive auto feature. You will have to disconnect the economy button and the ecu was programmed for a 3.45 diff ratio but other than that its the best ecu for you.

IME with the EL ECU (standard VS XR) there isn't much difference between the two on my XH.

Mine idles only slightly better with it (idled good with the standard ECU anyway), and throttle respone is improved by a small amount (which was also good before).

Other than that, they feel identical, and I'd say peak power has changed little, if any.

Unless the AU had a vastly different ECU from standard to XR, then it would be a similar transition.
