hey guys just want a lil info on what the ED XR6 manuals r like? any good? my 'cus is lookin at gettin 1, hopefully it doesnt smoke my ef xr6 auto though, lil bastard! thanx guys

I owned one for about 3 years, great car, and quicker than the EF XR8 5spd that replaced it. The EF is a more refined car, however.

I have a EBII XR6 manual. It has been an excellent car. Pretty economical for the type of car and will easily out run any N/A 6 cylinder Falcon or Commodore.

However the EF's or ED in auto form are much more refined and may be a better daily driver as there is no HEAVY clutch.

I've had mine for 5 years, has been a very reliable car, clutch every 90000k, not bad on fuel either.
