A few days ago somebody posted pics of a cold air setup on a BA XR8 that used a six cylinder intake leading into a modifyed XR8 airbox and I am interested in one for my XR8, so if possible could someone find that pic and information for me as I am unable to find it.

Can a set up like that be done for AU XR8? like using the cone filter surround adapted to the AU intake pipe with the standard air feed attatching to the cone surrond. Where does the the air feed for the BA XR8 attatch to?

Hi there, thats the convertion I did on my BA GT and have also fitted one to a mates XR8.

I have got 20 more adapters being made as we speak so if anyone is interested in one let me know. The one shown there is a prototype and will be made in black so it blends in with the rest of the black.
Also the intake tubing is not off a six and I have 5 spare K&N filters as well.
As for the pod housings, the part numbers are not available yet from ford but I have three of those as well.

It goes like stink, all I have to do is some dyno runs to see what Iv'e picked up.

Yep it can be used on the AU with some minor adjustment to the bracket assy.
