Is there much difference between an EB and ED XR8? Also how do the cars hold up with over 200,000 Kms? Is there much between the auto and manual in terms of performance? Is the manual gearbox reliable?

The main differances are the Lights, Front spoiler/bib, seat cloth, and badges.
Manual is definately the better one.
But there isnt that much differance.
Manual gearboxes are reliable and will take alot as long as you treat it ok.

So are manuals.
This era of 5L are very poor performers in standard form. They need a big wake up call (lotsa $$$) to get them moving.
Standard they can only produce around 110-115rwkw.

Love ED XR's!
An ED XR8, 5sp in Colbolt Blue would be my pick of any model XR ever built....apart from a BA of course...
