XR8888

My dealer rang today to say my MkII XR8 should be off the production floor on Monday. It will then go to FPV....can anyone tell me what happens to Xr8's at FPV.

maybe they go there to fit the 18 inch rims....

nah u will only get the 18 inch rims if u chose to cause they are an option as for the preimium sound it should be fitted at the ford factory not sure about the engine if they go to FPV i dont think they do

18 inch rims are standard on BA XR8s built after APRIL 2004...

I think the gearboxs get tricked up at FPV, Im pritty sure the linkages etc get Fpv adhanced as they say

Last I heard the XR8s do not go to FPV, unless its for the sunroof. The Boss 260 comes from FPV and is fitted on the line.
I could be mistaken know but pretty certain the XR8s dont go anywhere near the FPV factory
