Hello peoples.....

This week my beast is getting some mods done.

Thus far i have changed the exhaust to a genuine dual system with twin mufflers and resonators and got a nice sound.

On friday i am getting the rear bar modified and another twin pipe system put into the left hand side for a look of 4 pipes from the back.

At the same time i am having the new ss inductions cold air system with a bmc filter fitted.

Week after i am having 6 inch colour screens mounted in my sunvisors and a dvd player/playstation all hooked up and running through the factory system.
Will keep you posted and maybe post some pics of the pipes.

the 4 pipes remind me of something Ive seen in someones workshop... damm they look sweet!

dave, what brand of mufflers and resonators did you use? Any lose of power? It should look good with the other pipe work. I agree with minge, pics please.

What model XR8? Ba, AU or E series?

It is a ba xr8...... mufflers are Lukey race magnums, resanators are a custom fabrication, havent done any dyno testing to test power loss/gain, but no change in drivability.

I hope it will look like a m3 on steriods!!!!!!
The kit has been done, i am happy with the work done thus far.

Dave, it's not entirely clear on your original post, but are the LH pipes functional or cosmetic?

the left hand pipes will be functional, the second pipe will branch into two behind the fuel tank into the resonator to the left of the tank into the twin pipes out the back.

exhaust idea sounds awesome. Tell me about mods to the rear bar. Did they just cut the bar away to provide clearance for the lhs exhaust or what. Was there plenty of room for the pipework down that side of the car? what sort of dollars to get this done & most importantly - what does it sound like? How is power/torque feel - esp around 2000 rpm?

would love to see pics & hear sound.......
