My mate has a new (3000km on the clock) XR8 auto in the driveway so he rang me and asked if i would like to take it for a spin as he has taken my XT V8 manual for a spin.
So of we went with me behind the wheel with the first thing i notice was its a little flat under 3000rpm but after that its by-by XT.
Is this because its a auto,all has the stock V8 got more grunt down low.
All maybe a XT V8 manual is lighter than a XR8 auto, but shit she turns heads everywhere.
I dont like the air intake pickup below the head light, i whould hate to be the first one in a wash away with a gut full of water in the air intake.

the non boss engine has VCT, so it give better low end torque.
