im about to buy a new ute... would you rather a xr6t with leather or a xr8 without leater? also how often do the turbos need to be reconditioned on the xr6t?
i had to make the same choise and i went for the xr8 for a few reasons
1-the bonet
2-the sound
3-when i test drove both cars i found that with the turbo you had to rev it hard to get it to goand to fell the power but when you are doing 60kph it felt like a standard 6 not that there is anything wrong with them while the xr8 no matter what speed you were doing allways felt good
If ur looking for future mods potential then go the turbo.
For traditionalists its hard to pass up an 8.
I'd love an 8 if it weren't for the petrol pricing.

mate i just got out of a baxr8 ute for a turbo six and ill say go for a ride in a turbo six and then make your mind up i was bagging them when they first come out too.and you dont have to rev the shit out of em.the xr8 power came in to late and redlined to early.for every day driving it felt gutless unless you had a nice flat stretch of road to open it up.
