Re: The XW

What are you going to do with the inlet manifold? Polish it or paint it white as well??

Re: The XW

EBXR the manifold will remain as is, it looks a bit dull in the pics but looks much better in the flesh.

Re: The XW

Ok managed to get hold of a set of convo pros to trial on my car but the donor ute has a shortened 9 inch so they stick out a bit on the back plus i couldnt get enough weight in the back to get the right look(my old mans fat but not fat enough).
I've also managed to do the black around the front of the car and hopefullu the undercarriage this week.
heres the pics

The convo's look tuff, especialy on the front. So the car that they came off had a shorter than xr-y diff?

Re: The XW

They came off an XY ute(the wild violet one in some of my pics) which has a shortened 9inch, which allows it to run bigger wheels on a different offset.

Re: The XW

Good on ya for trying a different colour Fordy, should look good and it's a break from the traditional Ford Blue.
I copped a bit of shit from mates and people I knew for painting my clevo (American) School Bus Yellow but they can all suck my fat one, as if I was going to paint it Ford Blue when the car was Neptune Blue which is almost looks the same colour.
