Just go to the Shannon's website (www.shannons.com.au) and the auction section. There is a full page of all the cars in the auction on Monday, including a couple of XPs that look pretty good.
concordec - now that it's all painted nicely I would leave the vinyl off, I'm not that much of a fan of them personally.
thanks for that outback_ute.
by the way, my xbgt has option 16 from factory. yep black vinyl roof, which will be reinstalled because thats what it had originally and the look is growing on me:wnc:

Many moons ago (like 20 years)... I owned an XYGT (Bronze Wine, Cream Vinyl Roof, Saddle Trim, 4-Speed, PB Radio & 36 Gal Tank) and when I had it repainted, I removed the vinyl roof because the old one had contributed to rust along the gutter rails of the roof. Have since found out that that colour & option combination was a one off!!! If I owned the car today... there is no way I wouldn't be putting that vinyl roof back on!!! It was a rare feature and probably would add value to the vehicle!!! Actually... it was a really nice combination!!!
So... if it were me... I would be looking at putting the vinyl back on... soon!!!
You might like to check if it really is a GTHO as well. I know what the title of the ad says... but the rest of the description just doesn't read right to me. Sounds more like what you would say for a GT and not a GTHO!!! JMO!!!

ford never called the first GTHO a phase 1, it was simply GTHO.
some later GTHO's had clevelands, probably due to the short supply of windsors and ford australia going to clevelands.
all phase 2's had clevelands.
thanks for the offer WAXBFAR, but i've got a set. hardest bit will be trusting someone up here in the sticks to do the job properly and correctly :fraz:
IMO XW was the BEST looking GT made. Looks better then all the other (sedan GTs) from any angle! And the Bill Bourke car is even better with the big block, shaker and Mustang seats, the best of the best;.
XW GT came out the same month I was born.
yes i suppose your right, blueyes. i have a good friend who owns a xw GTHO. we just call it "the HOEY". beatiful car, too.
