hello all. ive just bought an xy gt and have a few questions
1- the front spoilers on the gt's and ho's apparently are different, one is plastic the other is aluminium. does anyone know which belongs to which?
2- HM headers were on the ho's, were the also factory on the gt's?
and finally
3-the blue in which you spray the block, does it have a trade name?
any help is valued.

Big Block Ford

I dont know about the spoiler but the headers on an HO are different and unique to the HO. The GT would have the cast iron 4V Clevland exhaust manifolds as standard.

The paint is probably just called Ford blue but each paint manufacturer will have it's own idea of Ford Blue. The best way will be to test a few cans against the colour of your block or rockercovers before you paint the engine. If you want to be exact then you may have to take a rocker cover or sump pan in to a paint shop and get it matched and purchase some paint to spray it with.
