Ye olde dyno graphs

Well, i know you guys have a fixation for people posting pics... hehehe

But seriously.... here's a couple of outdated dyno graphs. First one (116rwkw) was from the Eseries dyno day in August.

Second one was done at Tilbrook auto (after blower fitting) when i was using an incorrect MAF sample tube. This is evident by the A/F ratio that drops off the scale (read: fuel coming out exhaust) and the poor power figure (153rwkw). But about 70% of the peak power comes on very quickly (gotta love that windsor) so im confident i'll do well next time its on the rollers with leaner a/f. The correct sampling tube is now fitted but need a morning off work to get here done again.

Watch this space i spose....

Re: Ye olde dyno graphs

Im hoping for at least an extra 10rwkw, 15 would be nice, 20 would be awesome. It was really really REALLY rich on that 2nd graph.

It definately feels better with the new MAF setup (and using less fuel when crusing!)

I'm targeting 170kw at the wheels in the hope it will keep up with 200rwkw naturally aspirated cars. If i fall short then throw more money at it i spose! hehe.

Cool, will take ya for a spin on Sat - let you be the judge :)

Cool, i'll just hop onto ebay and.... wait a minute.....

Yes very tempting, but presents a few problems. Chip will prolly need redoing. Biggest concern is loosing all my precious boost (i.e. remove restriction and loose a lot of boost). Not a vortech blower so i cant downsize the pulley to get more air happening... maybe on the next engine i build...

Yeah like i said, happy to take anyone for a pony ride....

but loosing boost is good!
if ur engine can take all the air thats being forced down its throat, then you're doing what should be done!
