Finally the car seems to be coming to the party. Got the new cam in, timing chain cover replaced, and have managed to get it to idle without stalling, not before time either. Well not sure about top end power, but i don't care about that cos i have no ambitions for a 200km + effort, but she pulls like a 14yo boy at a boarding school. Out of the blocks is a big improvement i must say, and i am mighty happy about it. Still a little bit of pissing around with the idle, and am fitting iridium plugs on monday, so if all goes to plan, then its happy days for me! :s5

Good to hear your happy with it,
while on the subject of cams, i put an EL cam in my EB, and it has made a noticable difference.

did you have to use a different fuel pump or regulator when fitting the EL cam?

As im already running the s/c gear, 2nd fuel pump and reg etc, i made no other changes but to put the cam in.
I thought id just give the EL cam a go and see what happens, from about 3000 - 5000 it pulls away like a train.
Before you know it, the speedo's hitting 140.
Dunno if i should go one more step and try the EL Xr6 cam, i think the grind might be too much with the blower (too much overlap etc)

Once we get the EL back from the panel shop, im thinking about swapping the ECU for a few days, see how the EB goes with the EEC-V
