yeah, but i sold her corolla to my sister, so its only fair...
she wanted a rav4, but i told her no point in getting a toy 4wd, so settled for the xr6 instead.
Meanwhile, i'll keep driving the EA around with the diff wind that will piss off even a deaf person.
3984, dude Im not throwing down the gauntlet or nothing here but, do you just ask questions to which you have a predetermined response to and await in ambush? Ive read a few of your posts, and just noticed a bit of a pattern 'so there ya go'. I could be paranoid of course.
Gary
From the responses, i tend to agree with him, but im not a 150 post noob.
I would go with the XR 8.

Ive got a Turbo and will be trading it for a Mark 3 XR8 in Feb next year.
Resale value isnt as good as I thought it would be but thats life, Some days the Turbo doesnt perform as well. Turbo is probably as hard on fuel as an 8.
It is a good car no question but after nearly 3 years its time to trade.
I have had a few XR6s but never an 8 so its time to get a new shockwave V8 manual with a good exhaust as you have to love that sound. Looking forward to it
i'm stumped
i s'pose it depends on whether you like to cruise and look good (XR6), want a hard hitting performance car thats easy on fuel when you're just driving around town, or an all out-balls out bruiser that could scare any holden driver with its howling Boss 5.4L (XR8, Duh). The issue would weigh on how much you'd be willing to spend on petrol (and tyres) if you constantly drive with your foot pushing through the firewall on the accelerator. all three have their good points, and each have bad points.
it would definitely be between the XR6T and XR8 but i dont know which one i'd go for.
Just a bit of useless information; an HSV executive once said when asked about the BA XR6T, 'there is no room in the Australian performance car segment for a turbo six'
Famous last words, huh?
