Re: Your Favourite MkII BA FALCON XR

tuff one, but you can't beat the sound of the boss... just sold my EF *sob*sob* last year it was only a six but with 2 of the 3 mufflers taken out and a 2 1/2" system it sounded like nothing else!
to replace this unholy sounding six i have just purchased a BA XR8 in blueprint (2nd hand).
Its been lowered with decent shocks and springs (goes like its on rails) and had sports mufflers put in (will get a full stainless quad when budget allows) and it roars! It burps, farts and crackles gloriously on downshift and EVERYONE turns too see what it is when they hear it. Many XR6 and even a few HSV owners have given thumbs up to it!
Love the XRT (have driven several, stock and modified) but the bulge gives me a half mongrel every time i open the garage and see it and when she's fired up it sounds like armageddon is nigh!

XR8 for sure.
