hey fellas just bought a zl ltd in pretty good cond but ive only had it 2 days and ive already found a problem with it.
this morning when i started her up and took off down the road the indicators wouldnt work neither would the hazards. on top of that when i turned the headlights on the dash went out completley. the indicators started working again after i stopped and started the car a few times but the dash still goes out when the lights are on.
can anyone shed some light on whats going on here? is this something i can fix myself or is it an auto elec job?

maybe have a look around the back of the dash see if wires are touching. my mates vl, had a similar problem, if he indicated left or right, his hazards would go on haha. turned out wires where touching.

Check your flasher cam. as for the dash lights i too just bought a zl ,when tou turn the lights on press the button on the left side on the instrament pannel. or under the light switch you will find the dimmer .slide it all the way to the right and tour intera light should come on ,slide it a bit to the left and your dash lights will dim.

my uncle has 2 zl's he replaced the instrument cluster and that fixed the dash light problem
