06 f250 trans start problem and tow/haul switch
V10 43000 When the truck sits for more than a day in the cold after starting maybe 5 sec or so there is a thud, almost like something freed up. tranny fluid is clean never towed but carried a few heavy loads here or there.
this started in the beginning of the winter but the truck hasnt sat for a while until last week and has done it several times other than that no other problems. Well the tow/haul switch doesnt work but that was almost from when i got it. Dealer told me it was the switch but needed the truck for a day.
Needless to say it was never fixed and now the truck is out of warranty. where is this switch located?
