When i accelerate and go just over 40 mph, i hear a "squeak" and a slight shudder in the accelerator pedal, any ideas??
Yesterday i also saw what i thought was fluid on the floor under the front of the escape, but this morning there didnt seem to be anything, im not sure if i had a leak of some sort?

I also still have a kind of "swinging" noise coming from the rear just before i make a stop...

...next car might not be a ford!

What's the mileage?

I've heard of other users having a problem with the rear axle. If you have a 2wd it might just be suspension related. I'd get Ford to pinpoint the noise. If they can't ask the sales manager to take a similar Escape for a test drive with him/her and see if you can pinpoint the problem.
