You after second hand??? If you are mate you will be lucky to find one, and if you do and the guy knows what it is then you will be paying between $400 and $600, thats what i got quoted which i think is ridiculously over priced, some people have no diea about the difference. one guy said "i got one out V8 if same you take for $100" hehe so im guna go check him out on the weekend... i aint telling you where though! Goodluck finding one...

The cheapest way to do it is using secondhand VL gearsets, the most costly (but ideal) method is using new parts. The path I'll probably go down is having the diff rebuilt with reco parts. That would cost about $800 if all goes well.

True that true that. Its a bit of a shifty business the diff business. Most diff places i went to were owned by fooly sick VL commo specialists who gave me waay overpriced quotes.
The Quote I got For a 3.45:1 LSD for my car was $990... The bloke was honest, and told me that the difference between a 3.23:1 (My diff) and 3.45:1 wouldn't be enough to justify the extra money for the 3.45 an So he recommended an LSD centre in my 3.23......
Im pretty happy, car goes good. Wouldnt mind a 3.7's tho...... But with all the freeway driving i do...... u know!?
i'm going to be looking around for an XF ghia diff to put the LSD out of into my 3.45 open diff that was built for me round 28 spline axles in an ED housing by a mate....
it's good at the moment but i really would like LSD :D
he will put it in for me at minimal cost ive just got to find an LSD diff to take it out of first... :-/
