347 stroker auto options

Hey, Ive got a 400hp 347 stroker in a 91 EB Falcon. The only real mod to the gearbox (the BTR 95LE I think it is) was I did have it rebuilt and the oil pressure solenoid tweaked to pump up the pressure for quicker gear changes. Well it pretty much made a meal of that 12months later, so Im wondering are theyre any autos out there that are a bit more reliable. I often hear of people using C4 or 10s n with a bit of work theyre pretty good. How would they go bolting onto the later windsor motors coz I remember some bellhousings had different bolt patterns. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated

Re: 347 stroker auto options

you can fit a c4/10 but you need an adaptor bellhousing because the starter motor is on the opposite side in the E series falcon. any probs just contact me. cheers.
