4 into 3

just got my hands on an XY ute, 250 with a 3 speed manual box. She has a speco floorshift and its damn hard to use. I just happen to have a bw single rail on a clevo bellhousing . My question is will the 4 spd fit onto the 3spd bellhousing or do i need to change the whole thing

Re: 4 into 3

Yes you can fit the Bellhousing with a little fiddling. Take the 3 speed Bellhousing and the input bearing housing along to your local machine shop and have then turn the bellhousing out to fit the input bearing housing. you will then need to put it together and see where you need to drill the extra bellhousing bolt hole. theres room for the hole in in a different spot.you will see when you line it up. It means you get to keep your hydraulic clutch.
