well here it is I`ve got a 92 fairmont ghia v8 4 speed auto put my new alpine deck in hooked it all up got it all back together turned the car on to hear the stereo always was fine day after I got in and turned the car on and the power light for that gear box started to flash along with a clicking sound from the auto electice for the gear box and its got me stumped as to why as I looked as all the cables into the box and to the deck and none of them are even close to each other so I haven`t cut one I shouldn`t or anything silly like that. Im not game to take it for a drive just incase theres some major problems

any ideas?

flashing power light = overheated Trans, or you've damaged a TC wire on install of the HU...
