I played with n2o and got burned, rather the high/reverse clutches did!!
So I need to build my C10 strong enough to take the power of my 300hpish 351 Cleveland and a 100hp shot of n2o. But as this van really is my work horse, the C10 also needs to remain auto and be able to tow on occasion. I will be using a 2500rpm high stall and a large cooler.
My plan includes 5 clutches in the high/reverse, a good shift kit, and a good rebuild.
I have rebuilt several engines but this is my first attempt at a trans.
Any input, advise, tips, suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance, and special thanks to gregaust who has already been very generous with his time!
