I have a series 2 Eb v8 with an auto. The auto runs alright but id love to put a manual in. How much would this cost to do? I couldnt do it myself so i would have to take it to a gearbox place. any ideas how much it would cost?
neeee, I got a kit for 1100$, T5, clutch, fly, pedals, cable....all i had to buy was a rear main seal (nothing wrong with original but while i was at it why not) and spigot bearing. Costed me 120$ and 2 hours to have it put in. I still need an EF Manual eco tho :)

I paid $1250 for a kit fir a 4.0 that included a recon box. The same place had a T5 for a V8 and they wanted $2500 change over for it! I guess there is more of a demand for the v8 boxes, or they are harder to find.
My T5 has XR6T and V8 internals and cost me $1720 fitted... But thats not including new pedal box, pedals, clutch, flywheel.. and all the other stuff. Rollin and I converted my car from a auto to a manual on a weekend. i went to get the original box rebuilt and it was dead, so thats how i ended up with the box with the good internals.
Have a search for a guy who has a mod for the auto pedal box to make it a manual pedal box... It will save hours of work putting in a manual pedal box, and also save heaps of $$$
